Welcome to Sri Mahesh Prasad Degree College, Mohanlalganj, Lucknow. To develop an extension of education in rural areas, the society Vidya Bharti Shiksha Sansthan founded and registered in 1991 in the chairmanship of Sri. Mahesh Prasad Maurya. The society established Sri. Mahesh Prasad Degree College, in village Bindaua, Post Mohanlalganj, Lucknow (U.P.) on National Highway 24B Lucknow-Raebareli Road for Co-Education and Sri. Mahesh Prasad Girls Inter College at village and post Samesi, Lucknow (U.P.). Sri Mahesh Prasad Degree College, Mohanlalganj, Lucknow got affliation from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur in faculty of arts with subject in Hindi, English, Economics, History, Sociology, education and Home Science in year of 2003. In the year of 2007 a commerce faculty established and affliated to CSJM University, Kanpur. As per the Government order 2010 the area of Lucknow University spread with Disrict Lucknow, the college got associated with University of Lucknow, Lucknow with all the faculties.

LABORATORIES

The college has fully furnished and separate labs for all the subjects of B.Ed, like Psychology, Computer, Language learning, General science, Arts and Craft lab etc to conduct all the practicals prescribed by the University. For B.Sc. Agriculture Honours there are separate like Agronomy/Metrology, Horticulture, Soil Science and Genetics and Plant Breeding. All labs have continuous electricity and water supply and are provided with fire extinguishers for safety.

NSS

Sri Mahesh Prasad Degree College students actively participate in various activities conducted by NSS. Every year, the NSS unit conduct a camp in an under developed and rural areas. It schedules so many social activities and awareness programs about education, cleanliness, health, through songs, dramas, and street plays etc. Apart from this the NSS brings awareness on public cleanliness, presents slides on social ills as eve-teasing, taking drugs and tobacco, reinstation safety by following of traffic rules and also focuses on different messages that is still altruism in young minds.
